Technology Support for this Course


Transcriptions Studio, South Hall 2509Besides access to the campus's computing labs at Phelps Hall, students can make use of the following facilities and resources offered by the English Department's Transcriptions Center). Transcriptions supervises the department's Literature and Culture of Information specialization (LCI) for English majors.

  • Transcriptions Computing Lab (South Hall 2509). The labis also open to undergraduates in Fall quarter during the following drop-in support hours, when the Transcriptions Research Fellow, Ashley Champagne, (transcriptionsfellow@gmail.com), will staff the room and be available for help:
    • Tuesday: 9am to 12pm
    • Wednesday: 12:00pm to 3pm
    • Friday: 9am to 12:00pm; 1-2pm
    • Or by appointment.
  • Software Installed on Machines in the Transcriptions Computing Lab (inventory by machine)



Transcriptions Research Fellow

  • The Transcriptions Research Fellow for Fall 2014 is Ashley Champagne (transcriptionsfellow@gmail.com). She will keep regular drop-in consultation hours in the Transcriptions studio (South Hall 2509). (See hours posted above.)
